Thank you for your support of these easy fundraisers!

SCHOOL DRESS CODE POLICY
Please help the administration by making sure that your child is uniform compliant. Requirements are on pages 17-21 in the school handbook. Here are some of the issues that we see most often and that need to be taken care of to avoid your child from getting a fine or detention.
1. Belts need to be worn and must be solid black, dark brown or navy blue dress belts. Belt buckles must be conservative.
2. T-shirts worn under their polo shirts must be short sleeved, plain and burgundy in color.
3. If your child is cold, they may only wear a long sleeved school sweatshirt over their polo shirt. Orders can be placed in the office. Some may be in stock, others will need to be ordered.
4. Polo shirts must be tucked in at all times, except when in the gym during recess.
5. Coats and jackets must be conservative. No offensive pictures, words or non-Christian values.
6. Shoes: The primary color must be black, white or navy blue in dress, casual or tennis shoes.

ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
We desire an atmosphere of Christian values on our busses and in our school. We cannot monitor what students would listen to on their i-pods or view on their game units; therefore we do not allow electronic equipment on our busses or in our school. Electronic equipment that is found will be taken away and kept in the office until the end of the school year. If your child has electronic equipment with them due to unusual circumstances they should bring it to the office when they get to school and it will be returned at the end of the day.
Students may bring their cell phones to school, but they MUST bring them to the office when they come in from the bus. They will be kept in the office and then given back before they leave.

GUM POLICY
Parents, please help us in being united by talking with your children about the importance of obeying school rules. Things like our “no gum policy”, which some feel is unfair must be enforced because chewed gum has been found in places it should not be, including our new gym floor. Your help in guiding your child in this and other school policies is appreciated.

ABSENCES
Please call the school office to let us know. Thank you! 414-353-3520.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
Are you saving those “Box Tops for Education” coupons? They are found on many product boxes. They are worth 10 cents each and can add up very quickly to help our school! Students can bring them to the office.
Please save them over the summer too!

"We Care" program at Pick-N-Save
A perfect and easy way to help Milwaukee SDA School is to sign up for the "We Care" program at Pick-N-Save. Get a Pick n’ Save card at the Customer Service desk. It is the one they scan every time you shop, so that you get all of the sale prices. MJA receives a percentage of your total bill in the form of a monetary donation from the company if our school number is designated on your card. Our card number is: 513000. If you already have a card, please add our number to your card by going to the service desk.
